Cosmetic surgery is much more affordable in Mexico. Nurses and hospitals also cost much less. The doctors I recommend on this site are all board certified with excellent reputations, operate in the most modern hospitals and speak English.

This site was developed because I discovered that cosmetic surgery is not only for the affluent. Four years ago I had a tummy tuck and liposuction in Mexico. It cost $3000, I stayed in the hospital for three days and a week later I flew home to Chicago. In Chicago this surgery would have cost $8000 and I would probably have been sent home the next day. A year later I had my saddle bags liposuctioned for $1500 and stayed overnight. In Chicago this surgery would have cost $3000, maybe more. This year I had the inside of my thighs and hips liposculptured for $2000. In Chicago this surgery would have cost $5000. I have also had my spider veins injected. This procedure only cost $300, but in the US this starts at $800. The fees I paid in Mexico included everything; lab work, consultation and hospital stay. I had nothing extra to pay for. The fees here usually consist of the doctor's fee and the hospital stay. Lab work and the anesthesiologist are always separate charges. In the past four years I have had 3 surgeries for less than $7000. Airfare and hotel not included.

Grow old gracefully, says who?

I planned my surgeries along with my vacations. I had just started at my job and didn't have much vacation time to play with. With all my surgeries I only took a week off from work. I'm an administrative assistant and do nothing physically strenuous.

I am using my site to give others the opportunity to have cosmetic surgery for a fraction of the cost that they would pay in the US. I'm basing this site mostly on personal knowledge and will not recommend any doctor whom I have not met personally. I will only recommend doctors that are board certified and speak English.

In order for you to have surgery in Mexico you must be in good health. If there is any medical reason why you could not have surgery in the US, you probably could not have it Mexico either. Extreme makeovers are not recommended. These are serious surgical procedures that involved risk, as would any surgery.
